The Mughal Road continued to remain closed for the fifth consecutive day on Sunday. The DKG road between Rajouri and Poonch also remained closed for the second day.
Officials told the Greater Kashmir that there is heavy accumulation of snow between Chandimarh to Peer Ki Gali side on Poonch side on the Mughal Road. “The road remained closed, no movement of vehicles took place ahead of Chandimarh,” Deputy SP Traffic, Mohammad Zubair Mirza, said.
He further informed that Dehra Ki Gali road between Rajouri and Poonch districts, that acts as an alternate road to national highway between both the districts, also remained closed for the second day.
