The authorities on Friday relaxed curfew for one and a half hour in different parts of Kishtwar district after three days. The restrictions were imposed on Tuesday following the killing of RSS leader Chander Kant Sharma and his personal security guard in the area.
The district magistrate Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana, urgedthe people to maintain peace and not allow the miscreants to create trouble intheir respective areas.
“Curfew was relaxed in areas like Kuleed, Sangrabhata,Wassar and Semna Colony from 4 pm to 5:30 pm,” the district magistratesaid.
He said that mobile Internet services continued to remainsuspended as a precautionary measure to check spread of rumours but the BSNLbroadband services were functioning normally.
