All schools and colleges will remain closed in Srinagar district on Friday.
An official said thatthe decision to close the educational institutions has been taken as a”precautionary measure” in view of the shutdown called by separatists.
A KU spokesperson said that PG entrance test scheduled to beheld on 17 May has been postponed and would now be held on 23 May. The time andvenue shall remain unchanged.
The IUST Awantipora postponed the interview for thepositions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and research assistant, scheduled forFriday.
As per the notification issued by the Registrar IUST, newdates for the interviews will be notified separately.
