Jammu, Mar 3: Security forces Friday launched a joint search operation in over five to six villages of the border areas of the Samba district.
The Special Operation Group of J&K Police and CRPF personnel carried the searches in the villages along the International Border (IB) in the Samba sector.
The security forces were looking for anti-national elements and checking suspicious activities in the border areas.
