The vehicular traffic on Jammu Srinagar National Highway was intermittently disrupted today by the landslides and shooting stones at Cafeteria Morh, Ramban.
Traffic Control Unit, Ramban informed that the highway gotblocked during Monday night due to landslides at Cafeteria Morh. “The traffic washowever restored at 10 am on Tuesday,” they said.
“After remaining open for a brief period, the landslides andshooting stones at Cafeteria Morh again compelled authorities to stop thevehicular traffic at intervals on both sides on the highway at KaroolChandrkote and Ramban,” they said.
It may be mentioned that due to the lockdown, the contractorfirms looking to the upkeep of the highway have reduced their men andmachinery.
