3-day casual leave for Kashmiri migrant employees posted in Valley

Jammu, Apr 9:  J&K government has granted three-day special casual leave in favour of Kashmiri migrant employees posted in Kashmir valley, during various phases of Lok Sabha elections, 2024.

As per an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), sanction has been accorded to “grant of this special casual leave in favour of those Kashmiri migrant employees, who are eligible to vote at special polling stations to be set up at Jammu, Udhampur or Delhi during various phases of Lok Sabha Elections, 2024.”

   

The employees, who are the voters of the Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency where the date of polling is May 7, 2024, can avail special casual leave from May 6 to 8, 2024.

Similarly, Kashmiri migrant employees posted in the Valley, who are voters of Srinagar and Baramulla parliamentary constituencies where the election is scheduled on May 13 and 20, 2024 respectively, can avail special casual leave from May 12 to 14 and May 19 to 21, 2024 respectively.
