Srinagar, May 5: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that his party is fighting a big battle and “can only win if we keep our eyes and mind open.”
He was addressing back to back election rallies at Wanbal in Rawalpora and Central Shalteng. Dr Farooq Abdullah said that NC is the eyesore of anti- Kashmir forces since 1947.
He asked the people to remain vigilant on the day of voting. “The people must ensure that after casting the vote, they must check the connected VVPat machine to recheck their vote,” the NC President said.
Dr Farooq Abdullah reiterated that National Conference is the party of the common people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Since 1947 conspiracies have been hatched against us and our party. These conspiracies have always failed. We appeal the people to defeat these designs again this time with vote,” NC President said.
Referring to Jammu and Ladakh, he said like the people in Kashmir, the masses in Jammu and Ladakh too have rejected the “unconstitutional and undemocratic decisions of August 5, 2019.” “On June 4 when the results of parliamentary polls will be declared, the whole world will get a message that these decisions are unacceptable to all of us,” the NC President said.
