Jammu, Mar 16: The government has assigned additional charge to four officers, including one Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and has also ordered the postings of three Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers, with immediate effect.
Besides, it has promoted three JKAS officers with immediate effect.
In this connection, the General Administration Department issued eight separate orders on March 15 and 16.
As per GAD orders, Vikas Kundal, IAS (AGMUT:2013), Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, will hold the charge of the post of Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited, in addition to his duties, till further orders, relieving H Rajesh Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department of the additional charge.
Ravi Shanker Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, will hold the charge of the post of Mission Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, in addition to his duties, till further orders. The officer will take over the charge of the post w.e.f. April 1, 2024, upon the superannuation of Ashok Kumar, JKAS.
Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Agro Industries. Development Corporation will hold the charge of the post of Director General, Floriculture, Kashmir, in addition to his duties, till further orders. The officer will take over the charge of the post w.e.f. April 1, 2024, upon the superannuation of Farooq Ahmad Rather, JKAS.
Through separate orders, Deepika Kumari Sharma, JKAS, Secretary in the Jal Shakti Department, holding additional charge of the post of Executive Director, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Culture Department, with immediate effect.
She will continue to hold the charge of the post of Executive Director, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, in addition to her duties, till further orders.
Mohsin Raza, JKAS, under orders of transfer as District Mineral officer, Rajouri, in terms of Government Order No. 817-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated March 12, 2024, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, with immediate effect.
Basharat Hussain, JKAS, under orders of transfer as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, in terms of Government Order No. 823-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated March 13, 2024, has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, with immediate effect.
Further, Fareed Ahmad Kohli, JKAS, General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, will also hold the charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
GAD issued two separate orders about the promotion of three JKAS officers.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of Mohammad Rashid, JKAS to the Selection Grade of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service [Level 12 (78800-209200)], notionally with effect from September 3, 2022, and regularly with effect from February 23, 2024,” read GAD order.
As per another order, sanction was accorded to the promotion of two Time Scale officers to the Selection Grade of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 12 (Rs 78800 to Rs 209200), with effect from February 23, 2024.
These officers included Ram Lal Sharma and Bureeda Majid.
“Consequent upon these promotions, it is hereby ordered that Ram Lal Sharma has been designated as Additional Secretary to the Government in the respective department and Bureeda Majid will continue at her present place of posting, till further orders,” the order said.
