Srinagar, May 7: Special Director General (DG) Border Security Force (BSF) and head of its Western Command, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania called on Director General of Police (DGP) Rashmi Ranjan Swain in Jammu on Tuesday.
A statement of the J&K Police issued here said that in an hour-and-a-half-long meeting, both sides discussed in detail the current security situation in different areas and pockets of J&K including infiltration-related dynamics.
IG BSF, Dinesh Kumar Boora participating in the discussions provided valuable analytical inputs and actionable points for greater coordination in meeting the new challenges.
The discussion covered election deployment, terrorist activities in the Basant Garh area and threats in Rajouri and Poonch.
