Srinagar, Feb 2: The provisionally selected Hajj pilgrims of Ganderbal district of central Kashmir have been asked to deposit the Hajj advance amount of Rs 81,800 until 9 February.
They have been advised to deposit the Hajj advance amount via online mode or at any State Bank of India (SBI) or Union Bank of India (UBI) in the account of Hajj Committee of India (HCOI).
This, the authorities said, can be done through a specified payment slip using the bank reference number, which is available on the official website or has been sent through SMS against the cover number of intending pilgrims.
After the successful deposition of the Hajj advance amount, provisionally selected pilgrims are required to submit the Hajj application form, solemn declaration and undertaking, copy of pay in slip, online receipt, medical screening and fitness certificate (as per format available on the website i.e; www.hajcommittee.gov.in) original international passport in Room No: 231 of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
