Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 25 new COVID-19 deaths 1,448 in the last 24 hours.
As per the government data, 995 of the fresh cases were reported from Kashmir division and 453 in Jammu in the last 24 hours.
Of the 25 fresh fatalities, 13 of them have been reported in Jammu division while 12 were reported in Kashmir taking the overall tally in J&K to 4,051.
The overall death toll comprises 2,078 in Kashmir and 1,973 in Jammu.
There are a total of 28,423 active cases in J&K,- 18,213 in Kashmir and 10,210 in Jammu.
A total of 2,615 COVID-19 patients recovered from the deadly disease today taking the total recoveries to 2,66,576.
