Coordinator, state Dental Surgeons Association (DSA), Ramban, today appealed to the Governor to direct the concerned authorities for initiating process to absorb dental surgeons in government hospitals.
In a press note issued here, the Coordinator of DSA, Dr Nisar Rounyal said that dental surgeons have been ignored since last more than ten years.
He said that the state government is regularly advertising and recruiting MBBS, BUMS and ISM trained doctors, whereas the dental surgeons are being ignored.
Not a single dental surgeon has been appointed as regular dental surgeon in any part of the state since the last more than ten years, he said.
This is step-motherly treatment towards dental surgeons who have completed their studies and training from various dental hospitals of state and center, he said.
Dr Rounyal said that hundreds of trained dental surgeons are without employment.
He appealed to the Governor to direct the concerned authorities to start process for recruiting dental surgeons in the state’s health institutes.
