In order to streamline the functioning of private hospitals, Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) today sealed various sections of two private hospitals. The hospitals acted against are: Quality Care Hospital and Ess Bee Hospital in district Kupwara.
The divisional task force comprised of Dr G A Wani, Dr Zakir Khan and Ab Hamid along with CMO Kupwara Dr Prehlad Singh inspected the hospitals and under Clinical Establishment Act sealed X-ray section, USG section & endoscopy section of Quality Care Hospital and laboratory section of Ess Bee Hospital, a DHSK statement here said.
Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman said the department’s task force has been routinely inspecting the private health institutes and wherever discrepancies are found strict action as per the rule is taken.
