FMPHWs demand pending salaries, promotional benefits

Demanding pending salaries, promotional benefits besides redressal of other issues, the Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) from the peripheries of various blocks of Doda District today took out a protest rally in Bhaderwah town.

The rally was led by Bably Devi and Sakshi Devi, block presidents for Bhaderwah. Pertinently, the FMPHWs have been agitating for their genuine demands since the last more than one month in the whole of Jammu province. 

   

The female health workers assembled near old Sub District Hospital (SDH) building Bhaderwah from where they took out the rally.

The rally passed through the main roads of Bhaderwah Town  amid raising slogans in support of their demands.

The protesting health workers also met Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Doda, Dr.Ravi Kumar Bharthi and projected their demands.

The ADC assured that their demands will be forwarded to the concerned  higher authorities for immediate redressal.

The members of Medical Employees Federation District Doda including president, Hushyar Singh Rukwal, general secretary, Tahir Mushtaq, Gh. Hassan Wani and others also participated in the protest rally.

The FMPHW’s  who participated in the rally were Haleema Tahir, Reeta Devi, Shakuntla Devi, Yashu Raina Babli Devi, Masooda Begum, Jaleela Begum, Indra Devi, Suraj Bala, Anusya Devi, Balla Devi, Kanta Deiv, Sakshi Devi, Shagufta Begum, Rekha Devi, Neerja Devi, Amresha Devi, Kamla Devi  and others.
