Health department here has written a letter to Jammu and Kashmir police, asking for action against a man for allegedly defaming the Measles Rubella vaccination drive.
As per a letter written from the office of block medical officer Kandi to station house officer Kandi, it has been mentioned that a man, identified as Zulfiqar Choudhary and a resident of Rajouri is involved in allegedly defaming the MR vaccination drive.
“The man is defaming our drive on social media by commenting in extreme vulgar language. District administration has also taken seriously note of it and I have been directed to get the FIR registered immediately, as the vaccination drive is on the verge of launch,” a letter written by BMO Dr Iqbal Malik mentions.
It has also been mentioned in the letter that the man is behind spreading a rumour against the vaccination drive.
