J&K reports 262 new COVID-19 cases, four deaths in last 24 hrs

Two fresh fatalities each were reported from Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

Srinagar, July 8: Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 262 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours.

As per data, 142 fresh cases were reported in Kashmir and 120 in Jammu taking the overall case tally to 3,18,023.

Two fresh fatalities each were reported from Kashmir and Jammu divisions pushing the death toll in J&K to 4,353, data said.

A total of 353 COVID-19 patients recovered in J&K in the last 24 hours—136 from Jammu division and 217 from Kashmir.

Overall, a total of 3,10,326 patients have recovered from the deadly viral disease.

That effectively leaves a total of 3,344 active COVID-19 cases in J&K- 1,491 in Jammu and 1,853 in Kashmir.
