Srinagar Nov 6: Wearing masks can help reduce chance of contracting COVID-19 by more than 80 % even as it also gives protection against common cold and flu, a top American medical experts has said.

"Masks can help reduce your chance of COVID19 infection by more than 80%.

Masks also help protect from other illnesses like common cold and flu. Wearing a mask- along w/ getting vaccinated- are important steps to stay healthy, " Rochelle Walensky, Director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said in a tweet on Saturday.
