Taps run dry in Qasbayar Pulwama
We the dwellers of Qasbayar Reshipora hamlet of districtPulwama are facing severe hardships due to acute scarcity of drinking waterfrom past four days. We have no other source of water other than the PHEprovided pipelines.
Our womenfolk have been left with no other option other thanto search for water in adjoining areas.
We request theconcerned Chief Engineer PHE to direct the concerned to restore the watersupply in our area forthwith.
Kachawardi KhanSahib has no lady doctor
18 yrs on, Kachawardi PHC has no lady doctor.
We the residents of Kachawardi area, Khansahib Budgam arefacing immense problems due to no lady doctor being posted at Primary HealthCentre Kachawardi for the past 18 years.
We had informed the former MLA Khansahib, Director HealthServices Kashmir on numerous occasions about this issue but till date no actionhas been taken.
This PHC caters to population of patients from Raithan,Wathrad, Dalbal, Freslab, Branwar and other distant hamlets.
As a protest, we recently locked the PHC as our femalepatients were referred to sub-district hospital Khansahib and district hospitalBudgam due to unavailability of a lady doctor.
We once again appeal to the authorities to address the issueon war footing basis otherwise we would be left with no other option other thanhitting the streets.
PHE negligence leaves Natipora residents fuming
It's quite shocking that the PHE department is supplyingsewage water to the residents of Natipora and Chanapora. Last week taps ran dryfor more than 24 hours but when the supply was restored we were shocked to seesewage water flowing through our taps.
It is believed that the water supply plant was beingcleaned, which happens once in a year. However the concerned employees forgotto cut the supply due to which the sewage water was supplied to the residents.This is grave negligence on part of the PHE department which is responsible forsupplying clean water.
Padder residents seek Governor's intervention
We the residents of Padder Kishtwar request the Governor'sadministration to appoint as competent authority in our area to issue permanentresident certificates (PRCs).
The incumbent Sub Divisional Magistrate has not been vestedwith powers to issue PRCs to people in areas falling under sub division PadderKishtwar.

Job aspirants urge KVIB to end their dilemma
In 2016, Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Villages IndustriesBoard (KVIB) issued advertisement for filling up vacant posts. In July-August2017 the KVIB conducted written test and in December results were declared.This year in January and February interviews were held for few posts. Theinterviews for the posts of "junior supervisors" were not conducteddue to unknown reasons.
We the aspirants have been waiting for almost 2 years. Wewant our dilemma to end. We are counting days and nights to appear in the finalstage of recruitment process. The delay in conducting interview for the saidpost is pushing us towards depression.
We fail to understand why the higher authorities are notconducting the interviews from the past two years. We appeal the concernedauthorities to end our predicament by completing the final phase of therecruitment process.

We urge the people at the helm to pay attention towards thisvital road and get it repaired at the earliest.
