Minister of State for PHE, Zahoor Ahmad Mir today said that work on Sogam Filtration Plant will be completed before March 2018 and to resume the work on the project, Rs 10 lakh has been released for the due payments to the contractor.
Replying to a Calling Attention Notice moved by legislator Qaiser Jamsheed Lone, the Minister informed the House that filtration plant at Sogam stands allotted in 2011 at an estimated cost of Rs 19.06 lakh and key construction material including cement and steel is available with Divisional stores of Kupwara division.
