2 militant guides from PaK arrested in Uri: Army
Army on Saturday said that it has arrested two Pakistan administered Kashmiri (PaK) nationals who have been working for Jaish-e-Mohammed militant outfit and are acting as guides for infiltrating groups along the Line of Control in Uri Sector.
According to SD Goswami, defence spokesperson, in a joint operation by Army and BSF, two PaK nationals were caught on 21 September 2016.
"During the investigation, the individuals have revealed their identities as Ahasan Kursheed alias DC son of Muhammad Kursheed of Khaliana Kalan and Faisal Hussain Awan son of Gul Akbar of Pottha Jahangir both in Pakistan administered Kashmir. The duo was recruited two years ago by Jaish-e-Mohammed and were guiding to infiltrate across the line of control," Goswami said.
However, he added, that the details provided by the duo are being examined and corroborated by concerned agencies.
