Girl Cadets of NCC of various colleges of Jammu are presently undergoing Military Attachment training at Tiger Division, Nagrota, in city outskirts.

The two weeks training which commenced on 30 July 2015 is being conducted under the Tiger Division. The cadets are affiliated to 2 J&K National Cadet Corps Battalion.

As part of the military attachment, NCC cadets are being exposed to the arms and equipment of combat arms, combat support arms and services. 

They are also being given an insight into the ethos and customs and the Army way of life to motivate them to join the Indian Armed Forces as a career. 

The NCC Cadets are taking active part in the training with zeal, enthusiasm and vigour. Their training programme includes firing, drill, weapon handling and visit to Air Force Station Jammu. The girl cadets were accompanied by Neelam Kumari, a teacher from Kendriya Vidalaya, Nagrota.
