The family members of the deceased Kewal Krishan Gupta, son of Ghsitoo Mal, a resident of Talab Tillo along with relatives and locals staged protest and blocked the road by putting the dead body on road for around 3 hours, said a press note issued here.

They alleged that the Kewal was murdered and was not killed in an accident.

The agitated family members said that on April 28, Kewal Krishan's scooter was hit by a speeding car. Locals of the area immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital from where doctors referred him to Naryan Hospital at Kakrayal, Katra for advance treatment, they    said.

But during treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.

Protestors alleged that there is something fishy, as the police did not respond to their queries and is not working out the case properly.
