Jammu Bar calls a meeting to discuss 35A, deportation of Rohingyas

The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA), Jammu, on Thursday called a meeting to discuss Article 35A of Constitution, the deportation of Rohingyas from the state and other organizational matters.

The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA), Jammu, on Thursday called a meeting to discuss Article 35A of Constitution, the deportation of Rohingyas from the state and other organizational matters.

"The members of BAR are invited to attend 'General House, which will commence on August 3 at 11.00 am  to deliberate upon Article 35-A of constitutional of India and role of BRA vis-a-via litigation pending in the Supreme Court in this regard,"  said Prem Sadotra, General Secretary JKHCBA, Jammu.

"The house would also discuss modalities of the deportation of illegal immigrants including Rohingyas and Bangladeshis from the state,' he added.
