Wafa demands probe into killings of Parihar brothers
Chairman Wafa Foundation, Parvez Wafa Khan on Monday sought a thorough probe into the killing of a BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother, Ajit Parihar in Kishtwar town on the night of November 1.
Wafa said that he fails to understand as to why the government didn't provide proper security to the protected persons who were killed by unidentified gunmen despite knowing about the sensitivity of the area (Kishtwar).
Wafa said that facts should be brought forth within stipulated time and culprits brought to book so that there remains no confusion over the killing of a political personality of the state.
Urging authorities for time bound probe, Wafa said that appropriate security should be provided to political persons who have spared their life to uphold the democratic institution in the state and the country and those hell-bent to damage the social ethos of the state need to be exposed.
