Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Thursday booked an official of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) in the disproportionate assets case.
As per a press statement, Pranav Gandotra son of late Kewal Gandotra of Channi Himmat, posted as incharge Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) and incharge kerosene oil inspector, Jammu Rural-1, now under suspension, has been booked in case FIR number 35/2018 under section 5(1) (e) read with section 5 (2) J&K Prevention of Corruption Act Svt. 2006 for having disproportionate assets worth several crores, at police station Vigilance Organisation Jammu (VOJ).
It is important to mention here that another FIR number 21/2018 dated July 18, 2018 was registered against Pranav Gandotra for misappropriation of funds while his posting as incharge TSO in Rajouri District.
Thereafter, simultaneous searches were conducted at various office premises, residential places and it was found that accused Pranav Gandotra has raised huge properties, both movable as well as immovable worth crores of rupees in his name and in name of his family members which are disproportionate to his known source of income.
