Jammu and Kashmir BJP state president Ravinder Raina on Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19 following which he was shifted to a hospital.
The BJP leader said he got himself tested after developing mild fever. "The test returned positive," he said on Twitter.
Raina said he had recently visited Bandipora following the killing of BJP leader Waseem Bari in north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
The BJP leader said that he had stayed in Bandipora for five days after the killing of Waseem Bari.
Sources said that he has been shifted to the isolation ward at Naryana Hospital, Kakryal in Katra.
They said that other party leaders who had visited Bandipora along with him have tested negative for covid19.
