Law, justice and parliamentary affairs department Wednesday accorded sanction to the officiating promotion of three additional secretaries as special secretaries.
As per an order, additionalsecretaries Jung Bahadur, Tanveer Mufti and Renu Mahajan have been promoted asspecial secretaries in their own pay and grade with charge allowances asadmissible under rules.
The order said theseniority of the officers shall be fixed in accordance with the dates they areconfirmed against available posts by the PSC/DPC. The promotions, it said,shall be effective from the date of joining on the place of posting andpromotions shall be outcome to the subject of writ petition(s), if any, pendingbefore the competent court(s) of the law.
Along with this, the lawdepartment also ordered transfer of special secretary rank officers.
As per an order, FayazAhmed Sheikh, special secretary, presently posted in the State InformationCommission as registrar is posted as special secretary in home departmentagainst an available post;
Nazir Ahmed Thakur, specialsecretary, presently posted in J&K State Water Resource RegulatoryAuthority as legal advisor is transferred and posted as secretary in StateHuman Rights Commission;
Jang Bahadur on hisplacement as special secretary shall continue in the department of law, justiceand parliamentary affairs department;
Tanveer Mufti on herplacement as special secretary is transferred from State Human RightsCommission and posted in State Information Commission as registrar and RenuMahajan, on her placement as special secretary is transferred from financedepartment is posted in J&K State Water Resources Regulatory Authority aslegal advisor, the order said.
