The 5-day-long civil defence training program was inaugurated here at conference hall of RCDCC Jammu on Saturday. 

The training program, as per the release, was organised by the civil defence Jammu under the guidance of additional director general of police, HG/CD and SDRF, Jammu and Kashmir and close supervision of deputy superintendent of police, Anita Pawar, deputy controller civil defence, Jammu.      

In the training camp, the CD warden and volunteers were given the knowledge regarding first aid and fire fighting with rescue techniques. 

During the welcome address, Anita Pawar, the deputy controller civil defence Jammu highlighted the role of civil defence during natural calamities. 

Parmjit Kumar, chief warden and Thakur Ranjit Singh, deputy chief warden also shared their views regarding the importance of first aid, rescue techniques and disaster management. 

Civil defence instructors, ASI Ram Dayal, selection grade constable, Vikram Singh, constable Rajinder Kumar and constable Parshotam Kumar were also present on the occasion.
