Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Production Department (APD) appointed as nodal agency to implementation of Income Support Scheme Pradhan MantriKisanSamman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) for augmenting the income of small and marginal farmers.
According to government order number, 216-GAD of 2019, dated February 12, sanction has been accorded to the designation of the Agriculture Production Department, as the Nodal Department for implementation of the “Pradhan MantriKIsanSammanNidhi (PM-KJSAN). MadanGopal, Joint Director Planning, Department of Horticulture (Cell No: 9419129128) has been appointed as nodal officer at the state level.
Abhay Kumar, Director, National Informatics Centre (Cell No. 9419162157) has been appointed as Joint Nodal Officer at the state level to liaise and coordinate with the district level Project Monitoring Unit to ensure uploading of eligible farmers families on the PM-KISAN portal in the pre defined format.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (Central) in the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu as well as in Kashmir shall be the Nodal officer at the divisional level for the aforementioned purpose and Additional District Development Commissioner shall be the nodal officer at the district level for the aforementioned purpose and to e-sign the verified list while uploading it on the PM-KISAN portal.
