Army’s Western Commander reviews Op preparedness

Amid tensions between India and Pakistan, where troops of both the nations are facing eyeball to eyeball on International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LOC), Western Army Commander Lieutenant General Surinder Singh visited Rising Star Corps and reviewed operational preparedness of the Army in the Jammu-Pathankot region.

Sources said that the General, whose Command manned 198 kilometers long International Boundary from Lakhanpur to Akhnoor forward areas in Jammu, Samba and Pathankot where he interacted with field commanders and troops.
