The highway Banihal town also observed complete shutdown closed on the Hurriyat's call .

"District administration did not allow Srinagar bound tourist vehicles beyond Shan palace in view of prevailing law and order situation in the valley. however like other towns of Chenab region the Bandh was peaceful and incident free" said a police officer.
