BJP State President and MLA, Sat Sharma (CA), along with Morcha Incharge, Munish Sharma, and BJYM State President, Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, today launched "Signature Campaign" in Jammu on the issue of demonetization and e-banking.

Sat launched the campaign by penning down his signature after writing "I support demonetization", which was followed by signing by a large number of people from different walks of the life.

Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the decision of the Narendra Modi Government on demonetization has received overwhelming response from the people as they are convinced about the objective of taking this historic initiative.

He said, demonetization aims at ending corruption, black-money and fake currency. A common citizen may have faced some inconvenience during bank transaction but has stood with the PM in his noble cause for the nation, he said.

The recent reports about fall in incidents of stone pelting in Kashmir and surrender of Naxalites are the indicators that the black money and fake currency is being wiped out, which is indeed a great achievement, the State President said.

He also spoke on e-banking and said that shifting of transactions from currency notes to e-banking will also prove to be a great boon to the Indian people.

Munish Sharma said that PM Narendra Modi has displayed his commitment towards fulfilling the election promise of ending corruption and black money with his decision of demonetization.

Dr. Suresh Ajay Mogotra said that although, the opposition parties are trying to mislead the people on the issue of demonetization but they have failed as people supported the move despite facing hardships.

He said that the motive of launching 'Signature Campaign' is to highlight the advantages of demonetization and the need to shift to e-banking.  He announced that the similar signature campaigns will be organized in each district in the coming days.

The event was organized by Jammu West BJYM District President, Ashish Sharma.

BJP State Spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, BJYM Seh-Prabhari, Bhanu Pratap Jasrotia, Jammu West District President, Ayodhya Gupta, BJYM General Secretaries, Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma, and many others were present on the occasion.
