Union minister of state for PMO, Jitendra Singh on Wednesday claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is natural choice for people in Jammu division.
“The people of Jammu are left with limited options to choose from and BJP become natural choice,” Singh said, while addressing party workers after launching a book titled “4 Varsh Sansadiya Karyakaal” on working in Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Parliamentary Constituency, which he represent in the parliament.
“It’s our experience that when people in Jammu were asked whom they voted for, most replied positive despite their disliking for the candidates,” he said. “This is a blessing for us that people think that BJP is their natural choice.”
Singh said when people of Jammu express outrage or get furious with BJP it means they express their sympathies with the party.
He asked party workers to cash on all these factors and built “positive narrative” of party’s works.
“Today’s position of BJP is due to hard work of stalwart leaders from Pandit Prem Nath Dogra to Daya Krishan Kotwal, who never imagined that the party can come to power but despite that sacrificed their entire life,” Singh said, while asking the BJP workers to start aggressive campaign to build party’s narrative and to pay tribute to its veterans.
“BJP’s core voter is youth, who doesn’t believe on hollow promises but facts,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina, state president BJP complimented Singh, saying his “selfless working in the Parliament has made him the ambassador of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
