Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and Congress leader, Thakur Balbir Singh today said that BJP was trying to take credit of various developmental projects which were started during the tenure of previous UPA regime.
He claimed that BJP has nothing to highlight as its achievements in J&K, so party leaders were trying to take credit of the projects of previous regimes.
Addressing a function organized by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) secretary Pankaj Dogra at Kathua, Singh regretted that people of the Jammu region are backstabbed by BJP leadership as the saffron party has abandoned its core agenda and has adopted indifferent approach towards problems of the masses.
Terming PDP-BJP ruling coalition in the state as a non-performing government, he said that this regime has completed failed on all fronts due to rampant corruption.
He also hit out at the apathetic attitude of the government towards the plight of the people of Kathua district, saying it had failed to even provide basic amenities to the people. GKNN
