Jammu and Kashmir president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ravinder Raina Sunday said the saffron party would form the next government in J&K.
A statement of BJP issued here said that while addressing a rally at Nagrota, Raina thanked the people for the support they had shown in BJP in the District Development Council (DDC) polls.
He said that BJP had always kept the interest of the masses on priority with long-term implications in mind.
The statement quoted Raina as saying that with the people’s massive support for the policies and the stand of the party, BJP leadership would never shy away from taking strong decisions which might appear bitter at first like a medicine but would make the nation stronger, developed and the best place to live on the earth.
He said that the BJP had fulfilled all those dreams for which the previous generations had struggled and made sacrifices and people were lucky enough to witness those decisions being made in their lifetimes.
The BJP statement quoted Raina as saying that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government was providing a development model which had the highest level of dedication and a study model for the developed nations of the world.
