Jammu, Nov 9 : Chairperson Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA), J&K, Professor Rasmita Das Swain today along with other senior PWWA members inaugurated Diwali Mela-2023 at Gazetted Officers (GO) Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu.
At the inaugural ceremony, besides former Chairpersons of PWWA, former DGP J&K S P Vaid, Senior PWWA members, Rtd. DIG Manju Rashid, DIG Armed Jammu Nisha Nathyal, DIG IRP Jammu Sarah Rizvi, AIG Welfare PHQ Abhishek Mahajan, AIG Prov and Tpt PHQ i Gurinderpal Singh, SSP Mubassir Latifi Ameer, SSP Rashmi Wazir, SSP Anita Sharma and other police officers were present on the occasion.
Stalls from different Police Welfare Centres that included Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Kathua, Police Departmental Store Jammu and stalls from private vendors were also displayed.
