Countdown of BJP’s decline has begun, says GA Mir

The countdown of the BhartiyaJanata Party’s decline has begun, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief GA Mir said on Tuesday as BJP performed dismally in two out of three states where it was in power.

“It also indicates that the people have rejected the divisive and communal politics of BJP,” Mir said.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the victory of the party, a large number of Congress workers including Youth Congress, NSUI, Mahila Congress activists assembled at PCC headquarters, ShahidiChowk Jammu and raised slogans in favour of Congress party and its leadership amidst beating of drums, dancing and distributing sweets amongst them.

Speaking on the occasion, PCC chief, GA Mir said that Congress party under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi has emerged a strong force in the Country and there is positive change in the mindset and the mood of the people because of the policies and programmes of the Congress party. He said that Congress would emerge as the largest party in the 2019 LokSabha elections.  Mir said that the foundation of the Country has been laid on secular ideals and harmony amongst different sections keeping in view of the pluralistic character of the Nation. “But the political parties like BJP are spreading hatred and weakening the nation. So, the BJP leaders have been dethroned by the public in Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and in MP also, the Congress party is leading,” Mir said.

Raman Bhalla, while addressing the workers said, “Today’s victory of Congress party in Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh and its splendid performance in MP, where it is leading, is the victory of each and every right thinking person of the Country and it is the defeat of communal and divisive forces who are spreading lies and weakening Country through their divisive politics.”
