Srinagar, Feb 28: A CRPF trooper allegedly ended his life by shooting self dead with his service rifle in Nowshera area of Jammu district on Tuesday.
A police offical confirming the incident identified the deceased as CT Sarith of 245 Batallion.
The cause of him taking such an extreme step was not immediately known, the official said adding that investigation has been launched into the incident.
