CSIR-IIIM organises Hindi workshop

Jammu, Nov 2: CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu organised a joint Hindi workshop (Rajbhasha Karyashala) for all the members of TOLIC, Jammu here today.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Zabeer Ahmed, Director, CSIR-IIIM and Chairman, TOLIC, Jammu in presence of Dr Bharat Bhushan Sharma, President, Rashtrabhasha Prachaar Samiti, Jammu; Dr Sanjay K. Singh, Deputy Director, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Jammu and Sanjay Sharma, Secretary, TOLIC, Jammu. A total of 48 participants drawn from various member institutes of TOLIC-014 attended this workshop.
Dr Zabeer Ahmed while speaking on the occasion, informed the delegates of workshop about this endeavor of TOLIC, Jammu which is first of its kind and there are many steps which need to be taken by each and every partner of TOLIC in order to protect and promote our rich linguistic heritage while sustaining our lingual harmony. Appreciating the incredible role played by the TOLIC members in conducting this event, Dr Ahmed opined that in near future regional conferences for promotion of Hindi language would also be organised.
