The Estates department on Thursday asked all government departments to furnish details of officers and officials who have been ordered to move to Jammu from Srinagar for the winter session in compliance with the annual darbar move.
An order issued from the office of assistant director Estates department Bilal Ahmed Mir read, “I am directed to request you to kindly furnish the details of all officers/officials of the department who have been ordered to move to Jammu for winter session 2018-19 before November 10, 2018 evening.”
“Estates department has accommodated officers /officials who have moved with annual darbar move to Jammu for winter session (2018-19) in various govt quarters/private houses/private hotels in Jammu as per their entitlements. Estates department is receiving fresh applications from various categories of employees for allotment of rooms. Since, limited accommodation is available with the Estates department, a detailed exercise is to be undertaken in the department, vis-a-vis number of employees accommodated so far and fresh requests received,” the order further read.
The order also certified that the moving officers/officials or any other family members do not own any residential house in Jammu city.
