Darbar Move|DGP chairs meeting to finalise arrangements

Director General of Police J&K, Dilbag Singh on Tuesday chaired a high level meeting with officers of different wings to finalise the arrangements regarding Darbar Move at Police Headquarters.

The meeting was attended by the ADGsP, SJM Gillani and AGMir; IGsP S D Singh Jamwal, T Namgyal, MK Sinha, Gareeb Dass, Alok Kumar; DPT,J&K, Nasir Ahmad, AIsG of PHQ and gazetted officers from all police wings.

   

 During the meetingthe DGP said all wings of J&K Police who were supposed to open theiroffices in the Darbar move in the summer capital of Union Territory weredirected to prepare a list of officers and officials who will move to Srinagar.

The DGP directed the officers to take allprecaution/measures in sanitizing and decontaminating the office buildings atSrinagar.

He directed the requiredaccommodation for the employees should be readied well in advance in accordancewith the health protocols.

He said in view of COVID19 all the employees who travel fromdifferent districts have to be accommodated in Srinagar city itself in view ofthe advisories issued in this regard.

The DGP directed the officers of different police wings toprepare the move officials list and share it with the PHQ so that formal orderswere issued accordingly.

He directed the officers to prepare for the functioning ofoffices at Jammu and Srinagar both simultaneously till further orders.

During the meeting the DGP also reviewed the health safetymeasures being adopted by the police personnel performing duties on ground.

He said adequate masks, sanitizers and protective gears wereavailable with all wings of police. He appreciated the role of J&K Policewelfare centres and other units in fabricating these articles in large numbers.

During the meeting the officers gave briefing about thepreparations made and precautions taken by their wings and units with regard toDarbar move and COVID19 pandemic in their respective wings and offices.
