Anjuman Islah-ul-Muslimeen Jammu in collaboration with Hajj and Auqaf Department today organized Seerat Conference to mark the Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) .
Several prominent Islamic Scholars from different parts of the country participated and extensively deliberated on the teachings of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The speakers highlighted the teachings and message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) laying stress on promoting human values and love, mutual brotherhood, tolerance, peace and helping the needy and destitute. They emphasized on the universal acceptance and relevance of the teachings and message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Vice-President, All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Dr Sayed Kalabe-e-Sadiq in his thought-provoking address said that the true Muslim is not the one who offers prayers five times a day, but who practically adopts the real teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in his life and educates others for doing so.
Mufti and Khateeb Usmania Jamia Masjid Varanasi, Moulana Haroon Rashid Naqashbandi also threw light on various aspects of Islam and elaborated how Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had laid stress on kindness towards all the creations of Allah and love for fellow beings.
Besides others, Mohtamim Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom Poonch, Syed Ahmad Hameed Nabi, Sadar Islah-ul-Muslimeen Jammu Abdul Majeed, General Secretary J&K PCC Vikram Malhotra and other prominent personalities were present on the occasion.
Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Minister of State for Hajj and Auqaf, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi were amongst the prominent participants in the conference.
Meanwhile, Eid-i-Milad un nabi (saw) was celebrated with full reverence, devotion and religious ferviour in Sunjwan and Bathindi areas.
Special Seerat Majalis were held at Bathindi Morh, Narwal Bala, Qasim Nagar chowk, Sunjwan Eidgah and many other places and different mosques.
A religious procession was taken out from Stadium Morh, which after passing, Malik market culminated in Sunjwan Eidgah.
Thousands of peoples participated in the congregation.
