Legal aid committees of several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, New Delhi, Maharashtra, Kolkata, Chennai, UP, Bihar and other states, on Friday congratulated Prof Bhim Singh for his election as senior executive member of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), New Delhi, a press statement issued here reads.
As per the release, the results of election of SCBA members and other office bearers were declared today and Prof Bhim Singh was declared elected as senior executive member for the third time.
Several fraternity associates, including advocate BansiLal Sharma, secretary, J&K legal aid committee, advocate Bharat Bhushan, state secretary, Haryana and Punjab legal aid committee; advocate Sanjay Sachdeva, state secretary, Delhi legal aid committee, advocate NareshAmedhkar, secretary Tamil Nadu legal aid committee; Anil Sharma, secretary, Rajasthan legal aid committee, Abbas Ahmed, Secretary legal aid committee, Uttar Pradesh and others congratulated Bhim Singh for his election to SCBA for third term.
