Enforcement drive against traffic violations carried out in Reasi

Reasi, Aug 25: A team of Motor Vehicle Department led by ARTO Reasi, Tara Mani today conducted an enforcement drive on the Moori route.

During the drive the team checked 90 vehicles. As many as 36 vehicles were found to be operating in contravention of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and were issued challans.

An amount of Rs. 67000 fine was recovered from compounded challans and Rs. 40000 is expected out of challans imposed for various violations as per MV Act.
