The Governor’s administration asked administrative secretaries to strictly follow checklist and complete all medical reimbursement claim cases before submitting it to the General Administration Department for obtaining further approvals.

As per circular number 4 of GAD of 2018, issued on Thursday all the administrative secretaries are  requested to complete medical reimbursement cases as per laid down norms and not to submit incomplete cases. "It has been observed that the Medical Reimbursement claim cases submitted by the various administrative departments to the General Administration Department for approval of the competent authority are incomplete and do not capture all the facts of the cases in the coordination notes," the circular reads. "To ensuring settlement of Medical Reimbursement claims in time, a checklist has been devised, all the administrative secretaries are requested that henceforth the medical reimbursement claim cases shall be submitted to the GAD as per checklist," it said.

Govt shift funds allocation power from   PD&M to FD

Jammu, Sep 20: Jammu and Kashmir government has assigned the  allocation   of   expenditure   from   planning, development and monitoring (PD&M) department to the finance department.

As per government order No. 407-FD of 2018, dated September 20, 2018 issued by Navin.K. Choudhary, principal secretary to finance department, government assigned  allocation   of   expenditure   from   planning, development and monitoring department to the finance department.

The decision in this regard was taken by state administrative council recently.

As per the order, allocation of expenditure functions and related issues of authorization, releases, revalidation, re-appropriation etc. transferred from planning development and monitoring department to the finance department.

The allocation of functions like directorate of accounts and treasuries, directorate of establishment I (codes division), establishment II, directorate of institutional finance resource, revenue division, budget division and expenditure division are with finance department.

However, the units like monitoring division, planning division, economic and statistics division and special funds remains with the planning development and monitoring department.
