Jammu, Nov 19: General Administration Department (GAD) has directed all the officials to update their Centralized Personnel Information System (CPIS) data.

All the Administrative Secretaries and Head of Departments have been directed to ensure updation of data of all the officers/officials working in their departments by or before November 30, a circular issued by Commissioner Secretary GAD Manoj Kumar Dwivedi reads.

The officers/officials were directed to update their CPIS data as the Government is contemplating to introduce various employee friendly reforms for simplifying the Government employee interactions, which importantly include e-filing of Property Returns and Annual Performance Reports (APRs).

“The updated and correct information/data of employees is fundamental for successful implementation of these reforms,” the circular reads further.

However, the basic data of employees working in various departments has not yet been updated despite repeated instructions in this regard as a matter which is impeding the introduction of these initiatives.

Therefore, this (delay in updation) has been viewed seriously by the authorities, an official said quoting the circular.

“All employees shall check their particulars and update their Centralized Personnel Information System (CPIS) data with the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) immediately,” reads the GAD circular.

Accordingly, Dwivedi has also directed all administrative secretaries to share Action Taken Report (ATR) with the GAD by or before November 25, 2021.
