In a major relief to superintending engineers (SE), who were fighting for their legitimate right, Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday directed department to ensure that the benefits flowing from SRO 403 of 2018 would reach beneficiaries within the stipulated.

As per an order issued by finance department with reference number of State Administrative Council (SAC) decision number 80/12/2018 dated September 12, 2018, “All the concerned Departments, as such, who have the category of Superintending Engineers on their establishment, are advised to implement the judgment of the High Court, in letter and spirit and to ensure that the benefits flowing from SRO 403 of 2018 reach the beneficiaries within the stipulated time as per orders of the High Court.”

The pay arrears be calculated with reference to pay Acquaintance Rolls (as for as drawn part is concerned).
