The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday transferred and posted nine forest officers.
An order, issued from the department of forest, ecology and environment, read, "In the interest of administration, the transfers and postings of nine forest officers are hereby ordered."
As per the order, Mehrajdin Sheikh, awaiting orders of posting with PCCF, has been posted as divisional forest officer, Lidder, forest division, vice Feroz Ahmad Chaket, who has transferred and posted as divisional forest officer, Anantnag.
Humayun Kabir Qadri, divisional forest officer, Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as deputy director, FPF, Langate, against an available vacancy. S Amrik Singh, deputy director, FPF, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as ACF, Jammu forest division.
Jugal Kishore, presently on deputation to IWDp, has been recalled and posted as deputy director, FPF, Kishtwar, vice S Amrik Singh. Hitashi Sharma, DFO, MFP project, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as agrostologist, Jammu, vice Daleep Kumar Aryan, who has been repatriated to SFC for further adjustment. Anwar AFtab Shah, incharge CEO IWDP, Akhnoor, has been transferred and posted as incharge DFO, MFP project, Jammu, vice Hitashi Sharma.
Manzoor Hussain, district soil conservation officer, Poonch, has been posted in the office of joint director, soil and water conservation, Jammu on health grounds. A vacant post of ASCo, available with the director, soil and water conservation, is transferred to joint director, soil and water conservation, Jammu, against which the salary of Mazoor Hussain shall be drawn.
Devinder Magotra, awaiting orders with PC, IWDP, J&K, has been posted as incharge district solid conservation officer, Poonch, vice Manzoor Hussain.
"The transferred and posted officers are deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect and the arrangement shall not disturb the overall seniority of the officers concerned," the order further states.
