IGP, Jammu Zone, Jammu, MK Sinha on Wednesday promoted 172 head constables (HCs) to the rank of additional sub-inspectors (ASIs), 2 selection grade constables (SgCt) to HCs and one constable to the rank of SgCt.
Besides, 94 head constables were also brought on the promotion list-D-subject to the requisite pre promotion course.
As per the release, this was the first DPC conducted under the chairmanship of IGP, Jammu Zone.
Congratulating the promoted police personnel and their families, MK Sinha, IGP Jammu Zone, Jammu lauded the efforts of the promoted officers in earning their due promotion well in time and further expressed hope that they shall rededicate themselves towards their work even with more zeal and enthusiasm to make the department feel proud.
