Minister for state in Prime Minister Officer, Jitendra Singh, and the sitting Jammu-Poonch MP Jugal Kishor Sharma were among three who filed their nomination papers for two parliamentary constituencies of Jammu division.
Accompanied by Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal, Dr. JitendraSingh submitted his nomination for Udhampur-Doda-Kathua parliamentary seatbefore the returning officer Rohit Khajuria.
“This was first nomination for constituency after issuanceof notification,” Khajuria said, adding, “Last date for filing nomination isMarch 26.”
For Jammu-Poonch parliamentary seat, sitting MP Jugal KishorSharma submitted nominations papers as BJP candidate while Subash Chander filedpapers as independent candidate, before returning officer Ramesh Kumar,” anofficial spokesperson said.
